Tracks originally conceived and recorded for "Passagem", performance artwork by Reiko Shimizu which had a single presentation at the Department of Architecture/University of Taubaté, São Paulo SP Brazil in 1997. Contemporary dancer Robson Jacqué took part in the performance.

Reiko Shimizu suggested a soundtrack that simply resembled a heartbeat.

Although intended to solely accompany this performance artwork, these tracks have been used in other ones over time.

An unknown number of copies of these tracks were distributed in generic cassette format with no artwork.
