Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Sunshine FLAC

Just as 2008 was already well supplied with enough trance to have warranted it as one of trance's best years, Alex Morph dropped another epic tune late in the fall. There is much to love about this song. The main melody is very uplifting and it's incredible listening to this song on a day that is, appropriately enough, sunny as stare out at the sky and see a wide world before you.

Alex's pads add great atmosphere and the added lead in the breakdown makes this a really uplifting song. Nitrous Oxide's remix is my personal favorite of the two, as he combines Alex's looping, reverberating pluck lead early in the song with N2O's classic warm pad sounds. The percussion in N2O's version makes the song slightly more "danceable", though you don't have to be dancing to appreciate it. While so much of that could be said for many great trance songs (a great melody, nice pads, etc.), I think it's better if I simply stated that my words can't do for anyone what this song will do. In a world currently facing so many incredible issues, this song is an important addition to the things in life that make it brighter and breathable. Such is trance.
