A friend sent me this review, which is rather nice...
Dissonant And Disorienting, yet Cohesive. But oh so `captivating`, these improvs came together from a certain number of works the duo found had `defined` their Present Template, that is Dense Webs of Sound conjoined with Sharp Shards and Shreds of Fabric alongside conventional synthy sourced sounds too. Without resorting to `loudness` or `thundering` to achieve the `musical` end product. Being `improv` that seems `composed`or `considered` prior to the `doing`., But is Improv.
A Resounding Success ! Amongst their many Successes.
Track 5 is something of a `breather` amidst this welter of surrealism and abrasion., a Dadaist Chuckle.
"far away inside your self, traditional space will meet with the soup of future days"
The sort of phrase you conjure 3/4 way through this entrancing melange.
No Sequencers, No Beats. Pulses in transitory parts. The rhythms of 'The Long Duree' [in parts, half percieved] of a sort `yes`., Stasis `No`. Stasis being examined upon one of their other releases.
