Arnulf Meifert Kommissar Hjuler Mama Bä Germany Der Schöne Hjuler Memorial Fond Experimental 2009

After the LP was recorded on Sept. 29th and 30th, 2007, there has been a long lasting conflict between Arnulf Meifert and Kommissar Hjuler und Frau concerning the LP they had in mind. An insert (presented by A. Meifert with the LP) gives back only selected parts from emails written one and two days after the recording. But in the following weeks a lot of communication (not presented by A. Meifert to the customers) followed, because Kommissar Hjuler and Mama Baer then decided not to have track B3 on the LP, Mama Baer wanted to paint a cover art, and for a period of time both wanted to cancel the whole project, but became persuaded to agree. They only agreed to a blank white cover sleeve with small image at the middle.

Kommissar Hjuler and Mama Baer did not want the LP to become released in the way it got released some months later. The reaction by A. Meifert to their complaint after the releasing date both regarded as depreciatory, so that both later edited a series of handmade covers on (SHMF), listed as (SHMF-183). Some covers are three-dimenisional assemblages with parts from puppets or found objects, some covers are wooden constructions, some covers appear with moveable parts like No.s 177, 178, 180, 181, 182, 183, and 184 for which dia slides or painting objects can become moved on the cover by small cars and bowden cables.

The idea is that any owners of Taubnessel 6 LP can get a cover by Kommissar Hjuler und Frau to replace their cover. Moreover, they have to scratch track B3 on their LP, it has got its place on the LP only due to empty promises, what the selected information on the insert does not tell.
