Though "Boys in Shorts," the first track off Borneo & Sporenburg's REMEMBER TODAY, sounds as if its been beamed straight from an 80s 'erotic thriller,' the track quickly mellows into something else entirely. The Germanic deep house of "Wiedersehen" and the longer groove of "This Is Music Added To My Day" both have a light, poppy joyousness to them. Similarly, the sensuousness of "Somewhere In Metropolis" and the jittery guitar of "Little Italy" lend a gentle funk. The 80s vibe comes back on "What's Going On Tonight," but the easygoing "Remember Today" brings things back to a mellow mood. Short but pleasurable.
