One of my regrets was that Karen did not get the chance to have a world class orchestra accompany her beautiful voice. Decades later, I hear of this project, and I immediately pre-ordered the cd. It certainly does not disappoint. I was left with a lump in my throat after listening to the entire cd, and was moved to tears a few times. So glad this project happened.

The recording sessions for "Passage" were probably the closest Karen came. Her reading of "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" is far and away the best that has ever been recorded.

walrusgumboot86 - Please tell us all exactly were it states that this is a Greatest Hits compilation??? No where on the package do I see Greatest Hits. And I count 14 of the 18 tracks as hits. How do you get 11 non hits? Where your maths is at is anyone's guess

I doubt that being re-arranged, conducted, and remixed by Richard Carpenter himself constitutes a ripoff, but OK. You might want to do a little homework and give it a listen before you pass judgment and mislead people with wrong info.
