I think what RotaryClub was referring to and I have to agree, is "Italian House" from the late 80's early 90's, as opposed to Italo-Disco from the early to mid 80's, although some of the later Italo-Disco can be construed as Proto-House. Listen to Klein & MBO's "Theme", it's the roots of early Chicago House.Music. It's all linked in one way or another, which is nice =)

Green Dove has all the hallmarks of early trance,/chillout like the stuff Frank de Wulf & Speedy J used to do back in 91-92. Nothing italo about it IMO, both tracks great!
