I have the same album number but mine has "performed by Country Road" I opened the image attached and it says the same thing. Does anyone know where Kings Road came from? Thanks!
That makes sense. Thanks for the explanation!! I remember getting these as a child since I grew up pretty poor. Mom didn't want me to have no records to play when my friends came over. Since I had good friends, we made the best of it. For some reason, I still bring these home when I find them. Thanks again!!

Here is something that I copied off the internet year's ago, so I can't reference the source:"The label says that the artist is King's Road, the cover says Country Road. Utilizing unknown session players and stock photography, Pickwick filled dime stores with cheap fodder. Later licensing agreements with major labels like Capitol, Motown and RCA brought a bit of legitimacy, but the company was still churning out plenty of fodder. Especially prevalent in the UK during the late 60's and early 70's were compilation albums by Top of the Pops, Mirror Image, Kings Road and a host of other phony bands doing covers with production values seemingly just a step above MSR."
