Great track!!! I actually think the melody is closer to New Sector Movement's "New goya" (People, 1997) than to Candido's "Thousand finger man".

The melody of "Never Gonna Reach Me" is based on Disco classic "Candido ‎– Thousand Finger Man" (1984).

Not the melody, but the chord progression. The vocal melody has nothing to do with it.

It's not often that I'm compelled to buy more than one copy of a tune for myself but with this release, I had no choice. I don't want to risk not being able to get another copy in the future should I damage mine. It is just too good. It really is. The Never Gonna Reach Me track is a slowish (about 115bpm) deep/soul/funk/house mover that is going to sound crisp even in 10 years to come. I want to thank whoever is responsible for bringing this gem to vinyl and for the many years of happiness it will provide to both dj and audience.

Couldn't have put it better myself, I've been a music fan, collector and sometimes DJ over the last 20+ years and I think this is one of the best records I've EVER heard....absolutely amazing and I will never tire of it.
