To my ears 'Acid bath' is a lot better than 'ok' as stated below. It's a beautifully produced track that grows slowly with each element combining perfectly and also adding something fresh. This guy's standards are so high it could be easy to take his records for granted. I agree that 'Athena' is Derek at his best - much more adventurous. Both have their place.

Acid bath is ok. Hanging on a String is ok. Derek Carr has gotten a lot of attention over the last few years for a style hes pretty much perfected. And thats a tracky, sequenced and melodic detroit techno vibe. Athena is Derek Carr at his best.
