Amazing music, unfortunately they mastered this way too hot. Clipping all over the place. bummer

Thank you for letting us know. Disappointingly, this is a feature on many of the Modern Harmonic releases (Mganga, Barney Kessel). They all seem to suffer from distortion throughout. I can only recommend the Sun Ra and Al Escobar releases which are relatively clean.

Grateful that Sundazed saw fit to reissue this. The Japanese reissue was on my want list for several years but never found a copy. Hard to find an original in nice shape, especially the cover. Garcia's guitar playing is great and the other musicians, although not all household names, are very good as well. The colored vinyl cleaned up nicely and my copy has little or no noise. If you are a fan of jazz guitar and do not know this LP, you will be pleasantly surprised by what you hear.
