Ok, so who copied who? Both this and Vivre Sur Vidéo / Living On Video were released in 1983, and they sound too similar to be coincidental.No connection between the artists (this group is Dutch and Trans-X are Canadian).Anyone got info?

Yeah mate, I think I have found further evidence to back this up. If you listen to Digital Emotion's other 1983 hit Get Up Action it is clearly a carbon copy of the Bobby "O" sound.As much as I am loving the sound of Digital Emotion, I think it's safe to say they were definitely inspired by others.

I think a lot of instruments sounded the same at this time but i agree the whole thing is one step too similar. As Pascal wrote Living On Video in 1981 I'm sure it was first. Then it became big in Europe. The writers of Go Go probably heard Living and took inspiration from this and tried to emulate the spirit of that hit record.

How can one listen to this tune and not get an instant smile on their face? The synth-line is recognisable from miles away and will stay in your head untill the end of time. Even my friends, who are totally into other kinds of music then the likes of Digital Emotion, get a rush of joy everytime I play this. It's mandatory for all lovers of electronic/disco/italo music, because of the sheer fun the record represents, period.
