ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
A physician in private practice in Hollywood. He is influenced by music and plays the violin, the oud, and keyboard. He composed
and published music for famous Egyptian singers such as Jasmin El Khayam, Muhamad Rushdi, Maha Sabri and the famous Lebanese singer Sabah. Dr. Farag was born in Egypt, and lives in the United States since 1969. He is known for his modern Middle Eastern music where he believes the East meets the West.
ABOUT THE ALBUM:
Arabian melodies is a new approach to Middle Eastern music in which Western instruments like the saxaphone [sic], clarinet and the trumpet are used together with Middle Eastern music instruments forming a new horizon in East-West music.
This unique new musical combination creates new dimension in Middle Eastern musical productions.
Dancers will enjoy several changes from routine dance to “Saidi”, “Zar” and “Waltz”.
