My review contrasts the below. I ordered 3 copies, had them shipped over here, payed extra import tax and have played them all a couple of times now. None of my copies have the problems mentioned and in my opinion it sounds really good. Serious, out of about 2000 records this reaches my top 20. The artwork as well. I'm very happy I got some of these and I don't regret paying serious money. Surely I'm not the only one with good comments?

Does anybody have a problem with last track Matroska? In my case it plays slower. Kills my ears. I'm really dissapoinrted of the quality. Wasted my money. Absolutely agree with dandypanty. It must be 180 g double LP!

Mine is the same. It’s oval. Does anybody know about version on black vinyl? The same crap or not?

My whole copy is warped, and this track is incredibly painful to listen to. Such a dissapointment.

First, let me say that if you are looking at this LP you have a love for Dredg and listening to records. This is one of the best albums from start to finish as you probably already know but the pressing is not. I would say it's fair. This album deserved to be a double LP and on 180. I have to tweak my EQ tremendously to get a decent sound out of this record and it still comes up short in my opinion. I have heard this album hundreds of times and I feel a little disappointed with the quality of the sound. I don't know if it's due to the amount of songs being squeezed onto one record or because it is a mastering problem or maybe the copy that I received. If you are a Dredg fan and you can get this for 30 dollars, I'd pay it but I wouldn't pay the insane prices being asked by these scalpers. I pre-ordered mine and got it a week ago and sellers are already asking as much as 300 dollars which is a real shame. I will rip a track to youtube and include a link here at a later date for anyone interested in the quality.

They just did a re-release as a limited 250 run, and this is the reason I still am not getting it... 25+ minutes on each side. $30 is just too much. I completely agree that it should be a double LP.

I am with you on almost every word as well. All in all, the original mix even on the CD doesn't sound breathtaking. The production on all Dredg albums prior to The Pariah, the Parrot, the Delusion is quite flat in my opinion. In any case, as you have mentioned before, with a good sound system and some EQ fiddling it sounds good enough.

Based on my listening experience, I would agree with your observation about the pressing. I do feel it's a good quality one but could've benefitted from slightly better mastering or a multi-LP release. I also had to tweak my stereo output a bit in order to achieve what I felt is ideal sound from the album. That said after waiting so long for this record and it coming out in the quality it has I'm hardly disappointed. I think it's definitely "good enough" and I'll be perfectly content if this is the only pressing this album ever sees.
