Cezel
Unknown, but a very cool romantic composer, this Emilie Mayer (1812-1883). During her lifetime she was celebrated, but when she had died, she immediately became forgotten. Now this fantastic all-woman-Trio Vivente dug her out and worked on three of her compositions. Of course, experienced live it would be even more impressive, but on this CD that power still works, as the three musicians are making music in such a vivid way, with a strong presence and a totally convincing interpretation and playing.
