The first version of the release does not have the subtitle "Sail Away". According to the liner notes to the boxed set of The Very Best Of Enya Rob Dickens of WEA Records witnessed people asking for copies of the single in a store and realised that they were asking for a song called "Sail Away". Consequently, he arranged for the single to be quickly produced with the sub-title "Sail Away" to ensure that sales were not lost. The script on the labels is gold/yellow rather than the black of the "Sail Away" subtitled versions.

This issue has the "Sail Away" credit and gold writing on the A side. The writing is black on the B-side label.
