To expand on what I said: of course I have only heard about how bad most pressings were, outside of the two I had before I got this NM version.

I can only compare to the Italian and US pressing of this title, the former from 1981 and the other a first pressing, but this one trumps them in clarity and detail and dynamics, while on top of that, it is a dead silent one, I can only wonder what the first remaster from 1977 sounded like, but I think this Pathe pressing plant was very good, I have other records that came from there in that period and they are spotless! Later they turned out much less quality. But this one, recommended! Other pressings of this great album are mostly quite bad, murky and such!
