If there was a lounge located on the desert outskirts of an Arizona town like Tucson or Phoenix, this would have be its house band. At least, this early version of FODM would be it; a rough lo-fi garage lounge band with a slide guitar as their lead vocalist that treads through covers like ‘Misty’ and the title track well as a few originals that blends in quite well. Also worth noting that the pictures used for the CD covers were taken in El Paso and the album was recorded in Tucson….makes sense. Make sure to hunt down the band’s first two Sub-Pop singles that were released before this and you’ll get the full package.
