Future Breeze - Push / Second Life FLAC

What an incredible release from the boys of Future Breeze. I have been a fan of them ever since I discovered 'Secrets' a tune under their 4 clubbers work with Junkfood Junkies. In my opinion this is possibly their best release, blowing 'Why don't you dance with me' out the water.

Push is a beautiful track, plods along at a good pace, and is an interesting mix in sets, almost bordering on Hard Trance. I love the synths that establish themselves towards the end. In fact, the beauty is the song repeats itself same chorus (and in fact initial) a handful of times, but every time it adds something to it, another synth or some acidy sound.

The main reason I write this review though is for possibly one of the greatest and catchiest songs I have ever heard: 'Second Life'. Wow! I have been listening to Trance all my life, especially a giant Above & Beyond fan, but this lone track by Future Breeze is up there with my favorites. It is not the most complex tune, nor even the most sophisticated, but it does have one thing few songs can claim to have: a dangerously infectious melody. The song works its way towards the breakdown in generic fashion, very Future Breeze and very mixable into sets. However the breakdown is where the magic starts. The simple repetitive synth lead, at first distorted, erupts with perfectly timed bass and immense energy into a storming repetitive melody that is not only uplifting, will blow your mind. I definitely recommend this to any fan of Trance and Hard Trance, and even late Techno. And to the Tranceheads out there: I didn't say it was incredibly complicated or sophisticated - it is just FUN. One of the most fun songs I have heard in an incredibly long time!
