First record with Milla Kapolke on Bass, Grobschnitt worked eight months for the tracks, no live-gigs (! Grobschnitt was a live-band) during this time.
"Mary Green" was one of the popular live tunes after the release, wants to legalize Marihuana. "Silent Movie" is one of the best selling tracks of Grobschnitt, an instrumental, catchy and romantically. "Spacerider" and even more "Illegal" were the live-monsters for some years ...
The record in general means to me the powerful link between the earlier symphonic progressive music years to the following popular "Deutsche Welle"-tunes with german lyrics which sometimes will get a little bit shitty when you hear it today.
Excellent sound and production, mostly compact song-orientated tracks: Grobschnitt is at the top of their career.
But for early fans it was the time to look for other more progressive bands or even to get into punk and wave: this was the start of melodious power-pop and arena-rock ...
