Incredible spiritual jazz that recalls early 70's efforts from Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, and offerings on Mainstream like Frank Foster's Loud Minority or Mike Longo's Awakening. Severely underrated, and almost hard to believe it's released in 1988! It also avoids the trap of being a facsimile by introducing all original compositions, and truly inspired playing.
