"Crossroads" for four violins was written for Daniel Kobialka.
"Concerto in Slendro" was mostly composed in 1961 abroad the S.S. New York en route to Japan. The work is dedicated to Richard Dee.
"Rakka" was begun in Tokyo in the summer of 1970 was conceived for four channel tape with live violin soloist. The stereo version of the work was arrived at under technically limited circumstances with the generous help of Don Cardoza.
