Thank you Law for pressing another 100 of these! An incredible entry in the anthology of DrumFunkaliciousness, the tracks are extreme polar opposites in terms of emotional evocation, but they share similar production aesthetics. "Mercury" would slide effortlessly into the mid-era GLR/LGR catalouge; a perfect drummy atmospheric "rollin without the E" life-loving soundscape, whereas "Emptiness is Form" reminds of me Reinforced-era Paradox or early Fanu a la his 13Music 2x12" EP. It's a chopped dark & brooding drumfunk choon sampling Forest Whitaker from Ghost Dog Way of the Samurai. "Emptiness is Form" also has my favorite usage of the King Tubby aka Digital breakbeat from the past half dozen or so years. REPERTOIRE4LIFE!
Lord Have Mercy!!! The Ten commandments aint got shyza on these ch00nes! B0H!
