A fine album from the hard bop era, even if it does play things a little safe at this point. Most of the tracks are standards but they're well done and enjoyable to listen to. Side A has the upbeat tunes while side B has the slower ballads. Worth picking up if you enjoy the players on this LP, just don't pay an overinflated amount for it.
