"Podrum...try to find anything similar to this nowadays … well you won't find it."you are sad right, but good news: if you pitch down "Patterns Of The Past2" you'll get some minimal techy acid house still playable in today sets, just remind: analog machines went out of time sometimes without midi & you had to adjust in the mix ("pitch match" will not help laptop music players)thank youminor edit to stay on subject (as suggested in forum...)

This EP really does sound like a collaboration between Bissmire and Robert Hood, with a little Rachmad thrown in too. Both sides are mini minimal masterpieces that take the Hood/M-Plant blueprint and then are further punctuated with Bissmire's fondness of sharp spikey synth cracks at a break neck pitch. Each tune undulates and tricks the ear with it's hallucinating pin points of drums, hats and karaoke bouncing ball basslines. I'm surprised at the mediocre rating for this EP. I think it's a real gem and if Rob Hood was to play it, then at least he wouldn't have to get his screwdriver out to pitch up the 1210s!
