In deep France, back in the late 70's, early 80's, little bands and unknown singers had the possibility to press by themselves one or two 7 inch vinyl records. It was the way to materialize the musical work achieved in caves and garages.

Mosf of the lyrics are very fun and unusual, songs can talk about a runaway teen (“Wilfrid” by Evasion ), guys from the countryside who are into disco music ( “disco vedette” by Jacques Verdiere and “discomanie” by Papy ), science fiction ( “2980” by Groupe Dimension) or cheasy love songs like the massive hit “les filles de Janzé” by Phillipe Mordan .

Lot of the tracks were recorded out of Paris in little studios where the sound engineers did find interesting ideas with cheap machines.

Rock, funk, reggae, new wave and disco, this mixtape try to bring you back into this forgotten period, full of creativity and dedication, far from the music business , when motivation and love for music was the only rule.
