Dionysus' first foray into Lounge/Exotica, "Peaceful Amazon Village" calls to mind Martin Denny with narration describing a beautiful jungle village which gets demolished by developers at the end. "They Dug Up Elvis" is a noise-rock track with screaming vocals parodying Elvis Presley's fanbase. All in all a fun, unique release for the label. The Peaceful Amazon Village cover model is Zebra Stripes, photo taken at the former Dionysus Records residence/headquarters in Burbank, CA, 1990 by Linda Arnow. Lance Kaufman art directed the photo on the They Dug Up Elvis side.
