This album was great and did extraordinary numbers, especially first week sales. This was Wayne's album that pushed the boundaries/limits of Hip Hop and became a crossbreed into numerous genres. This was a nice album and, although hated, Lollipop did exactly what it was intended to do - gain the attention of those outside of rap worldwide, and it did. His most commercially successful album of all time that is 5x platinum. Whether you hate Wayne or not, this man has talent, and he's a substantial figure in not just Hip Hop, but music in general. He's known worldwide for a reason and with great success comes great hate. Even the legend Michael Jackson, with as huge as he is, gained large hate around mid-end of his career from music listeners and media alike. No matter who you are you WILL get hate.

Once you bypass the hate and ignore the opinions of others, take some time to listen to Lil Wayne's older music: The Carter III Sessions (original C3), Carter I, Carter II, Da Drought 3, Dedication 2, No Ceilings, Suffix, Prefix, etc. There's more than what meets the eye, ladies and gentlemen, and Lil Wayne is no exception to that saying.

Congratulations on a great album Lil Wayne, you deserved this getting on this list. Hopefully Carter 5, his last album before retiring, will make a "Greatest Albums of All Time" list as well.
