One of my all time favourite breakbeat tracks of that time. thanx to dj tobi & jonathan from mannheim who let us listen to this gem.

I found a copy of this today in a record shop for free, in Fair condition, heavily scratched and used and in a badly used XL recordings factory sleeve. I brought it home and it plays OK with no jumps, but with heavy crackles. I'll keep this copy as i didn't pay for, and as it is one of the best oldskool releases all around.

Now this is a TOP tune! I first heard this on a tape from a club in Liverpool, played by Stu Allen, and immediately knew I had to track a copy down. Fortunately at the time I was working in a record shop so it was fairly easy to get a copy...it made my month (If not my year!) I dont know where the samples are from, but I heard a house version of track A "You got Me" on the B side of the same tape I heard this mix. Again i was told this was played by Stu Allen in the same club same night but different room... Anthemic piano breakdowns, cool breaks and plenty of N.R.G style noises make this a must have late 92 old skool tune. I played this so often that between my chums this became known as the MK1 anthem...larf!

Remix of A.S.H.A.'s "J.J. Tribute" (Janis Joplin) and that version had many samples from her song "Ball and Chain." Quite good in its own right, but as usual N.R.G. takes it to the next level.
