Personally, I think Lisa Lashes should keep to her usual style of hard house instead of the darker side she showed on this album. The Tidy Boys set was very well mixed and, without my cd player showing the track number, I doubt I would notice the track changing.

Lisa Lashes made an AMAZING job of mixing her tracks on this album. Songs Like Jerico and War on Drugs blew my head off! I totally fell in love with her selection especially with the Defective Audio - Decimal Dust. Really harddd!! banging bassee with infectious hoovers! And had some really wicked trance flavor with Rob Tissera's song of "The Day Will Come." This song exclusively had vocals in it which is nice for once in a while to listen to. She did NOT try to change her sttyle at all.. it's all beautiful. Another thing to note is that DJ's are SUPPOSED to change their style ACCORDING to the album title... as well as from which record company they're producing it with. Some of hte tracks I admit weren't as good, but that goes the same for BK's selection... and in almost all album complitions. On top of that BK's hard banging "revolution" was a mass favorite to me. He's no doubtly my favorite producer. However, there is one big note I have to make in this album that really dropped it's quality. The mixing job for all of these songs were horrible. They were mixed at only like, 10 second intervals, you were really able to tell that a song was coming in. The best Mixing Job I ever thought was the First CD of HardHouse Anthems 3 (yes I know it's old) by BK.

Following the huge successes of the previous Extreme Euphoria's, I personally found this release to be somewhat dissapointing. Although the Tidy Boy's set was fun and well produced (as most Tidy Boys sets usually are), Lisa Lashes' attempt at changing her style to suit the new wave of darker, nastier Hard House ruined the album. Her exceptional mixing and mastering talents were thwarted by the mindless, incessant and un-musical tunes chosen for her set, and compared to the earlier releases, this CD just doesn't compare. Unfortunately (I fear), there is a market for this garbage - and for such a prominent and respected DJ to swerve in such a direction could perhaps damage the Hard House scene. No mistaking it, Lashes is an incredible DJ, yet her current choice in tunes is certainly an unexpected swerve.
Asides from that, the Tidy Boys mix is worth having, and the BK mix has it's moments. But if you're not that keyed up on the Hard Dance scene and you're looking for a door in, leave this one alone.
