NOTE:
The L10610 & L10611 etchings are associated with Macola Record Co. and suggest that the 'metal mother disc set' that was the source of the stampers used to press this record were made in 1986. The S-23337 & S-23338 Rainbo Records etchings show that this record was pressed in 1989. The combination of those etchings show that this record is a direct repressing of the earlier 86 Macola made pressing.

By the time an artist pressings reach Macola records for distribution. 9 times outta 10 its a second pressing.Take H.C. smooth on Class Act records for example. The Macola pressing of that jam is the second pressing. The same principle for this Matrix pressing applies. This is the first pressing for sure as encarnita stated. My father left the military in 1987. We left Berlin Germany and came to the states in 1988. We got to the states and this jam was blasting outta my uncles boombox. I was like 7 or 8 years old at the time :) - Good memories ! none the less.. THIS is the O.G. for sure. no doubt about that.. Saying this is NOT the 1st press is like saying the sunnyview records pressing of The Megatrons - Rock this planet is the 1s pressing, as real collectors know thats NOT true. the Original ON Records pressing of that jam with out sunnyview is also the O.G. in the example as well. The Bigger distributors usually are the 2nd pressing. hope this helps. PEACE!

I have no idea wot happened to my previous reviews to this record, seems that someone arranged to cancel them, don't know why !!!!! Anyway, once again, I and several friends of mine bought this record in Febr. of 1988, so it is not possible that it have been pressed in 1989! Also as per artist this one is the 1st pressing.cheersFab

According to the Executive Producer, this pressing with the 209 areacode phone number & address printed on the edge of the label is a reissue and was released in 1989 (I just talked to him Jan 11th, 2010 as a matter of fact). and you can have fifty of your friends click 'disagree' if you want to... hundreds even... :-)

The only way this is possible is if they pressed the first copies on Macola and after that they did a private pressing...which in most cases is backwards.. Usually people will put out a private pressing first and when the song gains momentum in the area the bigger distributors will pick it up to give it nationwide distribution...This is how the records landed overseas..and all across america... "Macola" .. But I could be wrong. I'd be curious to here what the artist says..
