Mr. Cloudy & Kabana - Water Line FLAC

This is lovely stuff on this CD! The Mr Cloudy tracks are completely different in style to what he usually puts out (Dub Techno).
The first three tracks are particularly dark sounding with ghostly moans, distant fractured voices and long resonating drones and of course some nice field recordings.
The next three tracks from Kabana are more subtle and calming and definitely less eerie, but really well produced . I was not expecting this CD to be like this as i bought it without hearing any clips but it has honestly blew me away and i find that every time i listen to this album the 75 mins just fly in and i find myself wanting more, more more!
Grab this if you can its an absolute gem!!!

Dub techno heavyweight Sergey Barkalov aka Mr. Cloudy teams up with fellow countryman Alexey Frolov to bring us a highly evocative and strikingly engaging piece of deeply rooted electronica. All tracks are centered around a motif of flowing water, with first three compositions shaped in the form of extended and quite basic sound instalations with a few effects scattered about, while the last three suggest a more mediative interpretation with the introduction of soft and gentle background pads.
Although the concept of employing various sounds of water is the central theme of many a production, here it's being executed quite well and without the perilous possibility of falling into a cliche.
