IMO this is Necton's best album, and I've loved all of their albums.

Rather than embrace any of the new styles of Psytrance or their production techniques, this album feels like it could have come from the late 90's / early 2000's, featuring tasty 303 lines (sounds like a real 303) and spacious analog production. What we have hear is a refreshingly minimal and relaxed progressive psy.

However, the songs actually have a lot more variety, substance and memorable quality than their uber spaced out debut "B12 Cocktail", which was essentially the same skeletal tune over and over, as much as I enjoyed it for its beautiful sound texture.

These songs have lovely melodies, emotion and a variety of tempos. The 118 bpm deep trance of "Time Warp" for example fits very nicely into the downtempo, chillout and deep house set I am planning for a party next weekend.

Easily one of my favorite recent psy releases. The old school is not dead!
