Radiosurgery is the seventh studio album by American rock band New Found Glory. It was produced by Neal Avron and is due for release on October 4, 2011 through independent label Epitaph Records. The follow up to Not Without a Fight , the album was recorded at Avron's home studio based in Los Angeles between April and June 2011. Avron is a long-term collaborator of the band having also produced New Found Glory , Sticks and Stones , and Catalyst .
The album title is a metaphor, referencing the actual medical procedure radiosurgery, after one band member suffered a difficult separation. New Found Glory took inspiration by listening to punk rock records from the 1990's such as Green Day's Dookie and Rancid's Let's Go, aiming to create record that could bridge the gap between old and new generations. The first single from the album was title track "Radiosurgery", released on August 2
