As sort of hokey the track titles are Nik Tyndall had a unique style of electronica no really beat oriented and definitely no piano laden staleness. Here you have more like a beautiful sort of pentatonic aural synth laden musician stew. Bits an and pieces of natural sounds, digital, FM and sampled synthesizers all bubbling around the stereo spectrum.
This is definitely ambient music but not of the Eno variety a little more movement at times and really creative without being too derivative of the given ambient/new age genre. Hey it was 1988 the cusp of all the new technology Nik Tyndall had zero
problem utilizing all the lovely musical paraphernalia to his best creative abilities. Whats that a Roland D-50 I hear in the mix! Nice!
