Could someone educate me as to why this is entered as a promo record? No mention of promotional anywhere on jacket or label.

The unusual blend of symphonic synth-rock with world music styles almost makes this album an overlooked gem. The Brazilian street percussion interludes are particularly intriguing. But the corny vocal tracks just ruin it for me. The Simpsons couldn't have done a better parody of mid-70s kitsch.

This album is truly before its time and I love it, it's progy and funky with space out textures, however I believe the engineering dropped the ball. There is really not that much in the low end on the master. It's really flat down there. Vangelis or Yes of the same time had super huge low end on thier masters..sorta disappointed there. But the compositions are insanely technical.
