Central Station Pty Ltd negotiated an agreement with Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SG&LMG) to release this CD as a fundraiser for the organisation. Since then, SG&LMG were placed into voluntary administration. A royalty from the sale of this CD will go to support the future of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras as per the original negotiated agreement.
This CD is a celebration of Sydney, Australia's gay and lesbian mardi gras, and is a soundtrack to the after party which is called the 'Sleaze Ball’.
The title appears as “Mardi Gras Presents... Sleaze 2002 In Uniform” on the front cover, as “Sleaze 2002 In Uniform” on the spine and discs and as “Sleaze 2002” on the back inlay.
