Bit the bullet and spent forty sheets on a NM copy to complete the set....I laid on my bed with my mouth and mind agape at what I was hearing. All the promise and exciting potential of their first two (slightly patchy, yet absolutely fascinating) records, realised in glorious widescreen electro-pop perfection. Absolutely timeless, fresh and alluring music; a very pioneering act for their day. People go on (quite rightly) about how visionary the early-mid 80's Detroit kids such as Cybotron et al were but if it wasn't for Jayne Casey's massively endearing, off-kilter and slightly smacked-out Liverpudlian monotone, this music could be from any exciting futuristic metropolis you care to dream of. I think many more people are going to wake up eventually and realise just how important and stunning this album is. An absolute gem for sure.

Another stunning and underrated album from the 80's but so modern!
Hra
really good and adventurous record, not dated at all at all at all

To my mind the very best of mid-80s synth pop. Truly superior stuff.

Totally agree. Just ridiculously good and highly underrated. Not dated at all either, these guys could easily be a contemporary band.
