Hi! I own a NM copy pf this double pack. The sound of the two discs is quiet different. Whiter Shade sounds brillant, but a bit harsh for my ears, while Salty Dog ist brillant as well, but the sound is warmer. - As a pity, I cannot compare with the original pressings. My AMIGA "Procol Harum" record (1983) is warmer, but less rich in sound. Maybe closer to the original, I don't know. - Did anybody compare the Double LP pressings with original UK releases? If so, I'd be glad to know about your experiences.
