Notes

Tellus commissioned by the Swedish Institute to be included in a sight/sound performance at the Triennal in Milan 1968. The theme was "global welfare in social, technical and emotional light". The performance was later staged at the Modern Museum in Stockholm under the name "Masses" and at the Musée des Arts Decoratifs, Louvren in Paris, entitled "Foultitude". Composed in 1968.

Fågel Blå, commissioned by the Foundation for Nationwide Concerts, to act as a festival and inauguration music during the Expo-Norr festival at Ostersund, 1969. The two-channel composition was performed from two giant balloons that floated in the air over the city. Composed in 1969.

Produced by Andromeda.

I first heard this LP in the early 70s. I was just a pre-teen back then, but the LP has had a lifelong impact on my musical taste. Long before Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis popularised electronic music, I knew of "Fagel Bla" (Blue bird, i.e. out planet) and its exotic, non-commercial soundscapes.
I too found this music in the mid 70s. It was actually on a dusty reel-to-reel tape, my brother and I had no idea what it was. We have listened to this over and over the last 45 years and had no idea who the artist was. Recently I managed to find Ralph Lundsten's page on youtube after a friend managed to get Shazam to identify the artist! Ralph Lundsten is a genius and he's profoundly affected my music since my childhood!
