I"m not thrilled to be some finger-wagging pendant. This title is rather misleading, though. Laurie Anderson is the composer of 'Oh Superman', and not some "dick brown" character. While Anderson incorporates elements from a 19thC opera into her piece, it is wholly new in execution and material - while this remix is not. Was that name a cheap bum-wad joke or.... well, whatever the case or not - give proper credit and don't act snakey, Music Man.

I assume you’d had one beverage too many when you wrote this ? Never mind, we can all remember our first pint.

Richard Brown's track, for me, is way under appreciated but the reason why i bought this release. So different to MM's usual releases, but listening to the vocals it's both hypnotizing and relaxing, a beautiful, emotional, delicate piece of music.

Couldn't agree more - it's why I want the record!

Richard B side is really not my cup of tea, but the Rachmad is classic Rachmad, beautiful beatless ambient techno in the Apollo records vein. Similar in key and style to the masterpiece "It's All gone Pearshaped" by Digital Justice. Too similar for me to really love it, in fact. Top work as always from the maestro, but in my opinion not as compelling as the above ( https://www.discogs.com/Digital-Justice-Theme-From-Its-All-Gone-Pearshaped/release/26083 ).

The B track "Legacy Of The Lost World" may have almost the same title as '"Legacy Of A Lost World" on My Preparation, it's not the same track. There are some similar sound elements on both tracks but are definitely different tracks.

First of all, nice slice of vinyl!! Not digging the "Richard Brown" track though.. Get's me a bit nervous to be honest, sounds like a pitched up version of "Moments In Love" by "Art Of Noise", but without the warmth and deepness of that tune. Other side by Steve Rachmad is simply genius!! It took me by surprise because all I knew of him was music with a beat, but this track is just amazing. Very atmospheric, ambient, techno-ish and highly energetic but without real drums. Thrilling track by Steve..!

Richard Brown did a great minimal electro version of Laurie Anderson´s classic "O Superman" - it´s basically the original song with a wonderful fat electro loop which goes on forever. Hypnotizing and sounds great on a good sound system.

The atmospheric track by Steve Rachmad is just amazing, I really love it. It's a great intro to begin a mix, or just to listen to it. But I think the other side with the electro-track by richard ... stinks. It's not my thing and even if it would be then this track would certainly not be a good one. It's thanks to Mr. Rachmad that I bought this vinyl.

Silly statement about the Richard B track. It doesn’t stink at all. Silly man.
