I don't remember exactly how I got hold of that record, but I think I was given this by Honey, from Jackie O Motherfucker, while she was touring Europe with Miracles Club.
Long story short, it took me a few days before I dared listen to it, maybe even a little more, and boy was I wrong in my hesitations : this album is pure genius! About 9-10 songs on it are must haves in my book, timeless, surrealistic (Lionel is a fave!), and I simply need more of this. I read the other comment mention it as a possible forefather of vaporwave? I don't know, I don't really care, as tis is miles better than any vaporwave I've heard, and I've heard some good ones.

Does anyone else think this influenced Vektroid and/or Vaporwave in any way? At least on a purely aesthetic level? We've got MS paint amateurishness, columns on the cover, a marble bust on the postcard, and a slowed down vaporwavesque sample of Soul II Soul's "Back to Life" on side 1. Also, Rob Walmart (according to bandcamp) is located in Portland, OR the same city as Vektroid. This album's ubiquitous in bargain bins across the city. It's not unusual to find sealed copies for under $3. The cover is very eye catching and is something that I just picked up for that reason. Anyway, thoughts?
