Just bought sealed copy of this Nov. 2019 and sounds near perfect despite the length on a single lp.
Hugighma
I've just picked up the repress (same deadwax markings as the original). Clicks and loud pops throughout, especially on Side A. It's a shame as the record would sound great otherwise, despite its length.
Ironfire
Mine wasn't purchased recently, maybe a year or two ago, but is a headphones worthy pressing. One of the best in my collection actually.
Nalmetus
Repress from Drag City available now. (Ten words ten words)
HappyLove
Is this a repress, using the old plates, or a remaster ?
Dondallon
Yeah, don't buy this. Especially now, since his passing has caused the prices to jump. It's an unfortunate pressing. Surface noise galore. No amount of cleaning will fix it. Just a bad pressing. Hopefully we get a 2xLP reissue of it soon.
Pringles
Apparently your wish has just been granted and the 2xLP reissue is imminent, on Universal.
Micelhorav
Was I just unlucky or is this a terrible pressing? A brand new sealed copy I ordered was rife with scratches, skipping and surface noise.
Ydely
Maybe unlucky. My new unopened pressing sounds very good. Slight noise here and there, but overall very good.
Hystana
Mine is good - a little bit of background noise but pretty good compared to many releases.
Grari
Mine is really flawless, completely silent ! This album is very long, but I've heard classical records with 35:00 sides that were OK...
Lyrtois
Mine is also hissing and popping, no skips though. Bad pressing!
Detenta
Anything can happen when you try to fit a 57-minute album on one LP.
ladushka
I don't think it was just you. Mine didn't have any real skips, but it had constant hissing and popping. Just noisy all over.
