Who can help me with: "33 1/3 RPM" or "45RPM?" Amazon says 33 1/3 RPM
Original
It is 33 1/3 RPM. Or my copy is, anyway!

Where was this pressed? Historically many Sigur Rós LP releases have been terrible quality.

This immersive vision shimmers out of the speakers through dense reverb, combining sliding surfaces surrounded by pulsing gritty reverse rhythms, lifted upwards with eerie drenched vocals... wonderful late night listening, reminiscent of their earlier work. Dead quiet pressing - nice packaging, my records are not marked like the last reviewers. Side 2 is absolutely massive, ending in an eerie streams of vocals and synths on the brink of collapse. Surprisingly there are still a lot of copies out there in the shops after RSD 2019, so shop around.

Thank you! I listened to it at 2am last night and I was I have to say it was so immersive it was borderline terrifying, haha... . The mixing is a total trip and there are times when it literally hovers and rotates in front of the speakers. Incredible stuff.PS - I thoroughly recommend Dark Jovian by Amon Tobin for a similar dark ride - this Sigur Ros release fits perfectly alongside

Must confirm, I just picked up both of these from my local record shop who had multiple copies left, I was very surprised, didn't expect to find leftovers. Mine are absolutely mint condition also, no scratches or blemishes, lovely shiny vinyl. Looking forward to giving them a spin tonight. Can I also say, what a lovely review, very accurately depicts the music.

As is usual with these LPs, the vinyl looks as if its been dragged across a wooden floor two or three times before being packaged up, which for a brand new piece of vinyl is a little bit annoying. This one plays absolutely fine so the marks are purely superficial, but even so. The Sigur Ros releases from last year's RSD were a little bit in the same vein: the Alex Somers record (the best release of last year's scalpfest) was a bit marked up, probably a consequence of the things not being shrinkwrapped; an admirable move to cut down on waste, but this year both LPs in the series are the same: a plethora of superficial marks probably caused by shipping.....
