The later releases are stronger but the sound matures into a less blisteringly intense sort of anthemic neogoa as one finds here. If you want morning trance this intensely and overtly mid-90s revivalist (the taste of some would lead them to call it derivative) then you'll like the early stuff. I'm with you man.

The sonic blast that begins "Ancient Race" reminds one of what California Sunshine must have sounded like when "Nasha" came out. Where the Israeli duo canonise and collect and document a bygone summer sound, here Sky Technology propose a new springtime for melodic psychedelic trance-dance. It's the loud, rousing blast of a bullhorn introducing a new way forward for melodic goa -- but it caters not to the taste of one too far gone into the "Full On" sound.

Crusty goa has a future? Here's to hoping.
