This is that one jungle/drum & bass song that was the movie "Blade"; the
1st one. This song was never on the soundtrack nor discussed/mentioned
on the score either

call & response is a bit of a turning point for "progressive" drum n bass, pretty dark moody stuff. a reversed filtered loop with some dark sound effects and stabs over a progressive break beat which is broken up enough to keep it interesting, but solid enough to keep the 1 beat audible.

computer state is a very good contrast to the a side, the beat is more solid, but has lots of different rhythm phrases intercutting at the end of each bar pattern, and a nice warm fat synth bass line, again with lots of well processed atmospheric sound effects.

also... the track "call & response" was used in the film "Blade" but did not appear on the soundtrack album, it featured in the sequence where Decon Frost is in the library translating scripts stored in the archive.
Steep
Dark sinister drum'n'bass with horror film thin wiry string riffs echoing, industrial clanks, clangs and groans.
B-side is similar, less smoothly flowing rhythms and bass, more distracted.
Both tunes sound good played at 33rpm for that spooky effect.
