Cheesed Japa-grind exploding walls with deviant noise-garbled limbs! Heavy sax-skronk!
Kazimi
Expose the Japanese to Thrash Metal, leave them to chew it over for a few years, letting their unique (!) sense of humour act as a catalyst upon it and see what they spit out. Well this is it - it has the speed & sudden changes of Thrash but combines horns, Rock 'n' Roll rhythms (occasionally) phast Phunk & a certain likeable madness into the raging maelstrom which results. The sheer noise factory makes it sound almost Trad Industrial - listen to the tone varieties of "Hiropon Goo!" and you'd think you had walked into a factory in full flight - grinding, crashing machine noise relentless and deafening. Crazy, cacophonic but strangely it never fails to amuse. I guess it's like watching a comedy programme where you laugh at the actors utter conviction that they are amusing you rather than at the 'jokes' themselves. And for this reason I will certainly play "Hatsu-Koi" again.
