While "Outside World" is indeed a good hard trance track, and undoubtly one of the most influential in the formation of the hard trance sound I never found anything so amazing and special about it. the two other relatively unknown tracks in this ep: "La Musique" & "Smoke" are for me the standouts of this release, some of the best melancholic trance ever !! the last seconds of "La Musique" are so freaking hypnotic is amazing. The melody is a simple "adventure" melody but holds til this this day. And the vocals (I think French) give this track more charm. "Smoke" is another excellent track with a similar feeling to "La Musique" a nice lead of ambient sounds, just like many oldskool trance classics with a nice melody and flutes. One of the releases that stood out on the entire Suck Me Plasma label. CD grabbers are more lucky since it's a generally cheap release to get. The vinyl is more expensive but overall, get this if you find a copy of either versions, pretty hard to hate stuff like this.

Pounding, thumping, melodic and melancholic. This is a classic hard trance tune indeed. When you hear this track entering the mix there is only one way to go, and that is ECSTASY!!!!

This is the most representative song of Hard Trance in the history. Many say that the sound of Hard Trance was first achieved by the First Rebirth by Jones & Stephenson. I think Outside World is much more representative of the Hard Trance era (1993 - 1996). This track is much more deep and really represents what trance is. Sunbeam's sound was so recognized that they were called to remix the classic "The First Rebirth" with Trance Allstars in 1999 and "Lost in Love" in 2002.
