TESTING VAULT “Connect, I Cut” EP



Testing Vault, born 8 years ago on March 2003 to express the phobias and the surreal visions of dANI/ALvo, during the years grew up from a lo-fi project to a kind of industrial near to Coil, Current 93, Premature Ejaculation, in a constant though slow evolution, between selfmade drones,
instrumental music, and recently the use of the voice as the last instrument, to describe what Testing Vault sees through his eyes.

The Ep is an anticipation, some exclusive tracks are in it, and some others will appear on the next "Deeper And Deeper We Went In My Amigdala", the new album of readings, between Rozz Williams' "Every King A Bastard Son" and William S. Burroughs' "Dead City Radio", with curious
beatnik echoes near to the Art of Angus MacLise as a soloist, and the apparently more solar Ira Cohen's "Brain Damage", giving us, after the black cycle of "The Laughing Torso" and his brother
“Phantasmagoria”, a different Testing Vault, not less intriguing.

The production of sound, pratically live, the readings' spontaneous recordings with background noise, browsing pages and nervously lighted cigarettes, give an unknown immediacy to the new Testing Vault incarnation, to find out an inedited way to be cerebral.

It's a new kind of happening, called "Shamanic Beatnik" by dANi/ALvo, who used a self-made Dreamachine to capture the lyrics.
