Hello all, just thought i would give you the heads up on this record, its amazing and when this come out in 1990 i played it to death, If your into acid, house or techno this is one of those essential tunes that really made a mark when released. About the bad pressing mentioned below its more a case of the recording not the pressing, that s all folks.

My copy sounds heavily distorted on the B-Side from about halfway in to the end. Does anyone else have this too? Would like to find out if it's a general issue or if it's a pressing fault specific to this copy so it's worth looking for another one.

Cheers! :) Yeah, i recently had the chance to check another copy from a friends collection too and same thing! Yet have to check the champion pressing too...

Mine has the same issue. All Echo USA presses I've come across have this same quirk. I can't tell you about the UK release on Champion though as I've never owned one to confirm.

Utterly essential acid and sub bass 4/4 tune from back in the day. I first heard this quite randomly whilst walking through Camden Town, just past some geezer selling mix tapes to 1990's market day trippers like me. I asked what it was then popped into Quaff Records the very next day to purchase the vinyl. Submarine deep driving drums on the 'Smooth Mix' which is the one I always go straight to. Great in the mix as it builds subtly until that freaky, twisted little acid line bubbles to the fore. One record I always pull out when I'm feeling in a retro mood. If you loved Networks 'Biorhythms' compilations this fits nicely in to that kind of mould. Well said Spaceface01 !

What a find. I bought this randomly with an order i made a couple of years back based on its Discogs score, and it has to be one of the best random purchases and finest acid records i've ever heard. The Groovy Mix is probably my favourite, but they are all fantastic. They remind me of what DJ Pierre did with his Wild Pitch project:- house rhythms that didn't vary too much for the duration, but you still finding yourself wanting more at the end of the track. Basslines, vocals samples, percussion and that killer acid line / angelic synth line combo drop in and out of the mix from start to finish. This is a track that could go on and on.You can still pick this up for fairly cheap at the moment, so don't miss out. I'm sure one day people will realise and this will be become a lot more desirable than it currently is.
